Welcome to the Spine of Yoga

Combining influences from Iyengar Yoga,  Alexander Technique and Mindfulness to create an embodied approach to yoga.

Spine of Yoga classes are safe, therapeutic, and beneficial for everyone, no matter your previous yoga experience, your age, your body type, or any physical limitations you may have.

This yoga is for all kinds of practitioners, including beginners. In my classes, we are not rushing from pose to pose. Working with subtle details of alignment, position, energy, and kinaesthetic sense, I guide you through carefully considered sequences in a way that brings alignment to your body. It is wholly safe, and will leave you feeling centered, calm, and rejuvenated.

If you are an experienced yogi, I’ll help you nurture your practice and explore different depths of poses. If you are a new student or have a disability, I’ll make the practice accessible for you. I will work with you and meet you, wherever you are. You are always encouraged to modify or adapt any pose, based on what feels right for you on any given day.

The yoga we do will create a space for you to be more mindful and more present for your body. Come and see for yourself!
